Hello - is there anyone out there?
I have been woefully neglectful of this blog and this will probably be the last post (not the bugle call you understand). Eclectic Keepsakes now has a facebook group and we post on there as it is quicker and anyone in the group can post or chat. So if there is anyone who reads the blog and would like to join us please do - we can be found here. Even if you are unable to come along to our crops you will still be made welcome.
Hope to see you over on Facebook

September Crop
It was time for us all to meet up again after the holiday break for August. It was lovely to see everyone back.
The cupcakes that Karen had made this time were as always scrumptious, and this time we had seaside themed ones as well as raspberry specials ...
As you can see they started disappearing fast!
Karen taught a stunning mini book class in the afternoon

it was my turn to take the class this time.I chose the gorgeous Prima Lyric papers.
I wanted the class to be a nice relaxed one -so there was a bit of cutting out, a bit of sticking dewdrops and some punching. We also did a bit of hidden journalling on a tag that we stamped and slipped behind the photo.
My class also reduced Ann to tears, not because she didn't like it,but when she got to do the journalling about her nan she came over all emotional !
Here are some of the other versions by the ladies...
Deb hard at work...
Karen did a quick lesson on the Silhouette
A lovely day - and soon it will be time for the next one !

February Scrapping
We had a fabulous day this month, lots of lovely company together with chit chat and cupcakes.
As always,Debbie came up with a cracker of a layout.
Lovely salted caramel
and mango drizzle ..yum.
There was much giggling
We spent the morning independently scrapping - then after lunch the lovely Debbie taught a fabulous class.
Which involved lots of circle cutting and some inking and some cutting out.
Keeping us occupied for the afternoon
and as always, a really lovely day was had by all.

The Great Christmas Extravaganza
This is just a very quick post to give you a little glimpse of the wonderful time we had on Saturday. It was so lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves so much.
First of all a very big thank you to Denise who despite being awol in Germany had designed a beautiful make and take for us to do.
Secondly a huge thank you to Jane who made the lunch which included homemade smoked mackerel pate, home made chicken liver pate and gorgeous home made coleslaw amongst other delicacies
We started the day with the Make and Take and then Ann taught a two page class.
Then it was time for the aforementioned delicious lunch.
After lunch we tackled my project which was a piece of Christmas home decor.
So there we have it - a very busy and productive day was enjoyed by everyone.
