We are now fully booked for the crop on June 5th. If you would like to be added to the waiting list, in case of cancellations, please e-mail us at email@example.com. Elaine has the class prepared and will be bringing some card making bits and pieces to sell too. We are so excited at the prospect of crocheting our own little embellishments and hope you will be too.
You will have seen that we have added some more dates for the rest of the year.
Why have we done this piecemeal? well it's all about getting the best deal, the best value for money and making sure you love the hall and venue as much as we do! So now we know we are doing things right, we are storming ahead!
Some exciting news regarding classes. Remember we said we were trying to get some exciting teachers for the rest of the year, here are some of the confirmed dates:
June - Learn to crochet your own embellishments. July - Laura Buckingham August - Karen Cole September - Ann Freeman October - TBC November- TBC December - December Spectacular - three classes and an extended day.
We hope you are as excited as we are and look forward to you joining us on these dates. Also, keep an eye out for details about us in UK Scrapbook magazines, wow we are excited!
Saturday was our National Scrapbooking Day crop/class with the urber talented Shimelle. What a fabulous day we all had. In total there were 16 of us and we each made 16 pages for an 8.5 x 11 album in a day! Shimelle was her ever patient self and by the end we had all achieved the basic pages ready to follow the instructions to complete them later. I cannot believe we did so many pages with so little stress - a testimony to a brilliant teacher.
It was a fantastic day spent with some of our regular ladies and some ladies who had booked in for the day to take the class. Ladies had traveled from far and wide - one lady had taken 5 trains to reach us, that's what I call dedication!
Also congratulations to Denise who won the Sarah's Cards kit for her sketch challenge lo, last month. This was the most creative use of the sketch and was chosen by SJ who said she was really impressed by the hand cutting, our thanks to Sarah's Cards for very generously donating a May Kit.
Next crop is on June 5th when we have a crochet class to show us how to make lovely handmade embellishments for our pages. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to book a place.
